The UFC’s return to Miami will see a new champion crowned. Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes face off at UFC 314 for the vacant UFC featherweight title.

UFC 314 will be in the Kaseya Center in Miami on April 12. The early prelims start at 6:30 p.m. ET, while the prelims are at 8 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET, and Volkanovski and Lopes should make their way to the octagon around 12:30 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Volkanovski (26–4) is 1-3 in his last four fights after an incredible run as the featherweight champion. After taking a year off from action, Volkanovski returns against Lopes (26-6) on a five-fight win streak. The Brazilian has ten wins via knockout and ten via submission.
The co-main event will see Michael Chandler vs. Paddy Pimblett. Chandler (23-9) returned to the octagon in November after waiting two years to fight Conor McGregor and is 2-4 in the UFC. The exciting Pimblett (22-3) is on an eleven-fight win streak and competes in his first five-round fight.

Meanwhile, Patricio Freire makes his octagon debut against Yair Rodriguez. A former Bellator champion who held multiple records with the promotion, “Pitbull” (36-7) is 2-2 in his last four fights.
Rodriguez (19-5, 1 NC) is on a two-fight losing streak. The former interim UFC featherweight champion has eight wins via knockout and five via submission.
