After the National League snapped a nine-year drought with a 3-2 victory in 2023, it was back to business for the American League last season. The AL defeated the NL 5-3, with Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran taking home MVP honors after hitting a go-ahead two-run home run in the fifth inning to give the American League the lead for good.
